Dynamics 365 Systems Architect

The Systems Architect will provide advanced technical leadership and hands-on development support for enterprise applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of business applications that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation across multiple departments.

The position requires strong experience in application architecture, system integration, and data-driven automation within hybrid (cloud / on-prem) environments. The Architect will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on the planning, analysis, design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, document, and implement scalable technical architectures across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments, ensuring interoperability with existing enterprise systems.

Oversee application integrations, customizations, and enhancements while maintaining alignment with organizational standards and governance practices.

Manage release cycles, CI / CD pipelines, and environment configurations using Azure DevOps.

Lead requirements gathering and technical design sessions, ensuring solutions meet both functional needs and security / compliance standards.

Support continuous improvement efforts through automation, performance tuning, and monitoring of deployed solutions.

Serve as a technical advisor to stakeholders, communicating complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Provide mentorship and direction to development teams on architecture patterns, coding standards, and DevOps best practices.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and technical issues proactively.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Apps).

5+ years as a Systems Architect or Technical Lead in enterprise-scale environments.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure, DevOps, and integrations.

Database architecture and data modeling expertise (3+ years).

CICD and Release Management experience, including automation and environment governance.

Proven ability to design and manage secure, scalable API integrations across platforms.

Advanced understanding of network, infrastructure, and application support (5+ years).

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and technical documentation tools.

Experience with technical analysis, requirements gathering, and troubleshooting under tight deadlines.

Strong customer service mindset with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
