Quality Control Specialist – Pharmaceutical Stockpile Support

Location : Atlanta, GA (onsite 2x / week)

Contract-to-Hire | 6-Month Duration

Pay Rate : $25-30 / hr

Start Date : November

A federal client of Insight Global is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role supports a critical stockpile of emergency response equipment—including vaccines, medicine, masks, and ventilators—that can be deployed during public health emergencies or natural disasters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control audits on incoming and existing warehouse inventory
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and cGMP standards
• Draft and interpret SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Maintain regulatory oversight during PHE responses
• Communicate with third-party vendors regarding product quality and compliance
• Lift up to 25 lbs and travel up to 10% as needed
