Finance Assistant

Our client, a leading organization in the energy and environmental sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team.

Job Title : Finance Assistant | 2 years contract

Location : Albany, New York (On-site) | May become Hybrid after 2 months

Pay Range : $27-$32 / HR (depending on YOE)

What's the Job?

• Audit, review, and process invoices received from vendors to ensure compliance with contract and program terms.
• Verify that personnel labor costs align with contract budgets and rates.
• Ensure indirect cost rates such as fringe benefits, overhead, and G&A are consistent with the budget and calculation methods.
• Assess billed costs against budgeted amounts and confirm sufficient funds are available for processing payments.
• Review invoice cost allocation codes and make necessary edits to ensure accuracy.
