Job Summary :

We are seeking a Structural Engineer I to join our team. This entry-level position supports the design and engineering of structural components under the supervision of senior engineers. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with structural design principles, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a strong interest in developing expertise in industrial and commercial structural projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist lead engineers with structural design tasks for foundations, supports, and other structures in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to design structural supports for equipment such as cable trays, pumps, motors, and buildings.
• Develop portions of project scopes, schedules, and budgets for design-related tasks under the direction of licensed engineers.
• Review and provide feedback on design work completed by drafting and design staff.
• Prepare project documentation for review by lead engineers, including :

Establishing design criteria and identifying applicable code requirements.

IBC – International Building Code

Qualifications & Requirements :

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from an accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering.

0-2 years of structural engineering and design experience in a related field.

Basic understanding of steel sections, beam sizing, weight calculations, and layout drafting.
