Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced home manager to oversee the daily operations and management of our short-term vacation rental portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the value of our properties while ensuring a positive guest experience.
Requirements : Current primary residence in South America, Central America, or South Africa. The role will be 5 days a week, including the weekends. Work hours are TBA.
Responsibilities
Guest Relations :
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests related to the home
- Coordinate with the concierge team on resolutions
Property Maintenance :
Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairsSchedule preventative maintenance across housesSchedule routine inspections and address any issues promptlyManage relationships with contractors and service providersFinancial Management :
Prepare and manage property budgetsHandle financial reporting and maintain accurate recordsLegal Compliance :
Stay updated on laws and regulationsEnsure the property complies with all relevant codes and regulationsRisk Management :
Assess and mitigate risks related to property operationsImplement safety and security measuresQualifications
Relevant certifications in property management (e.g., Certified Property Manager, Real Property Administrator) are ideal.At least 8 years of previous experience in property managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficient in property management softwareExcellent problem-solving skills; have the ability to address and resolve issues promptly and effectivelyQuick decision-making skillsBonus : Has experience managing homes in the USCompensation :
This is a full-time contractor position that pays $20k annually.
