Optometry Office Front Desk Clerk / Optical Technician

Legacy Family Eyecare is looking to hire a front desk and optical technician position.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, answering the phone to schedule and to confirm appointments, and looking up patient's medical and / or vision insurance.
• Pretesting patients for the optometrist.
• Working with patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses.
• Helping to file medical insurance.
• Assisting the optometrist and front staff with patient flow.
• Helping the optician with selling, fitting, and distributing eyewear.
• Cross-training will be done for front desk duties as well and time will be split between technician and front desk duties.
