The Wax Process Engineer will ensure all safety, production, quality, and plant processes are being correctly practiced and executed. Accurate and consistent communication with team leaders, managers, administrative staff, and upper management will be essential to the success of this position.

Requirements :
Ensure compliance with safety policies and rulesMaintain and improve our die maintenance program; also perform die maintenance as neededEnsure paperwork is correct and complete per the AS9100D standardEnsure wax injection equipment function and output are according to specificationsComplete one continuous improvement per week in the wax department to drive the largest cost reductions first.Act as a resource for employees to resolve operational issues during the shiftDaily audit of wax ultrasound (UT) and X-ray complianceAssist teams to achieve existing goals in production and qualityProvide technical support on all wax equipmentHands-on training for new employees, troubleshooting problems as neededPerform other work-related duties as assignedPerform daily quality and process audits to ensure procedures are being followed on the manufacturing floorUpdate procedures / work instructions to reflect your proven and documented process changes and quality standardsPerform data analysis and daily scrap reviewal to identify process repeatabilityConduct engineering trials to evaluate improvements and document findingsDocument yields and present daily to management on a scheduled basisEnsure wax patterns meet quality standards by identifying deviations, leading root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actionsCommunicate with finishing and injection department managers daily regarding pattern quality.Complete any additional tasks required by management as neededMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
B.A. in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering or a related engineering disciplineWill consider three years minimum of wax injection operation or related experienceMust have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken bilingual English / Spanish is a plusExcellent problem-solving skills : Six Sigma preferredThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
