What You Will Do
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer or designee, this classification coordinates budget planning, development, and administration and financial analysis, expenditure and revenue forecasting, and reporting for assigned departments, programs, grants, and projects. This role ensures accurate and timely budget and financial reporting to external funders, auditors, and regulatory agencies. In addition, this role ensures financial integrity, alignment, and reconciliation of financial, budgeting, purchasing, and position control systems and processes.

What You Bring to The Table (requirements)
Knowledge of :
Principles and techniques for collaborating with staff and groups to foster effective team interaction.Accounting, auditing, financial analysis, and budget principles and proceduresPrinciples and practices of financial statement and report preparationMethods and techniques of balancing financial statements and transactionsPrinciples of audit and quality control for financial documentationApplicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations as well as industry standards and best practices pertinent to the assigned area of responsibility, including HIPAA, GAAP, and FASBModern equipment and communication tools used for business functions and program, project, and task coordination, including computers and software programs relevant to work performed.Extremely strong Excel skills that allow for analysis, report building, and reconciliation.Ability to :
Expert ability in managing details while keeping the big picture constantly in mind.Experience working with and managing teams with diverse skill sets and backgrounds.Research, analyze, and evaluate new service delivery methods, procedures, and techniques.Conduct research projects on a wide variety of accounting, financial, and budgetary issuesEvaluate and prepare recommendations for changes to policies and procedures.Research, interpret, summarize, and clearly present financial and programmatic information and data.Independently work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow-up on assignmentsIn English, communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingEstablish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all employees, other agencies, and authorities.Education and Experience
