Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification or enrolled agent status preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation. In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and file various types of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Review financial records and documents to ensure accurate tax reporting.
- Provide tax planning advice and identify potential deductions for clients.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with customer service and administrative teams to resolve complex tax queries.
- Assist in developing and improving tax preparation processes.
