Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join an Angiography lab, requiring ARRT registration and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Work in an angiography lab within a surgical services department

Patient population and caseload typical of interventional radiology procedures

Responsibilities include producing angiography studies under physician direction

AM shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts per week

No on-call required for this assignment

Assignment length is 13 weeks

Responsible for ensuring film quality and maintaining patient safety during procedures

Assists in training and education of staff and students

Supports other activities that help departmental operations

Professional behavior and adherence to sterile technique are expected throughout all procedures

Requirements

Current RT(R) registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required

Cardiovascular Interventional Registry certification is preferred

License required if applicable

Strong knowledge of film quality, patient safety, sterile technique, and patient care is required
