We are seeking a highly detailed and analytical Auditor with a Cost Accounting background in manufacturing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing and managing costs in a production environment and providing critical insights to improve operational efficiency. Here is more information about the role :

Cost Analysis & Reporting :

  • Analyze and report manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead costs, and provide detailed variance analysis.
  • Track production costs and compare actual results to budget estimates, offering recommendations for cost optimization.

Inventory Management :

  • Monitor and evaluate inventory valuation, ensuring accurate representation of work in progress (WIP) and finished goods.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliations to improve accuracy and collaborate with operations and procurement teams.

    • Budgeting & Forecasting :

  • Assist in developing budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing models specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Provide input on financial planning by projecting manufacturing costs based on production schedules and anticipated efficiencies.

    • Compliance & Audits :

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all cost accounting processes.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing relevant cost analysis, documentation, and reports.

    • Process Improvement :

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements for cost reduction and operational optimization.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cost accounting standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Cost Accounting experience
