We are seeking a skilled and proactive Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our production equipment, including complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Laser experience is a significant bonus. Navy Machinist's Mates and Electrician's Mates are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance : Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and perform corrective maintenance on complex production systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational availability.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics : Apply a systematic approach to troubleshoot and diagnose off-normal conditions in mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• System Repairs & Alterations : Conduct hands-on repairs, component replacements, and system upgrades on one-of-a-kind equipment, ensuring strict adherence to technical specifications and safety protocols.
• Documentation & Record Keeping : Meticulously log all maintenance actions, system performance data, and component history, maintaining a detailed and accurate record for turnover and engineering review.
• Safety & Compliance : Uphold a culture of safety and procedural compliance, ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with established protocols and regulations. Take ownership of the safe operational condition of assigned equipment.

$34 - $48 an hour
