Job descriptionWeekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Oversee labor and delivery management, including monitoring, pain management, and delivery assistance Provide emergency obstetric care and perform both vaginal and cesarean deliveries Monitor and manage postpartum care while patients are hospitalized Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care Provide consultative services to midwives and family medicine providers MD / DO degree from an accredited medical school Eligible for Massachusetts Medical License Board certified or an active candidate for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Commitment to obstetrics education, health equity, and quality improvement Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus Combination of nights, days, and weekend shifts, approximately six shifts per month Could be 12 or 24-hour shifts Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team Excellent communication skills for patient and family education Leadership and mentorship capabilities in obstetric care procedures
