Financial Analyst

Job Title

Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, this role will focus heavily on data management, analysis, and reporting with a specific emphasis on operational efficiency within Pittsburgh Mercy. It blends auditing, process improvement, and strategic data-driven decision-making.

Essential Functions are as follows :

• Gathering data to support initiatives.
• Analyzing data trends and synthesizing information into actionable insights.
• Creating reports and visual representations (like graphs) to assist leadership in decision-making.
• Leading process improvement projects, using data to identify opportunities for efficiency or performance enhancement.
• Collaborating with various teams to implement changes and drive outcomes in patient care or business operations.
• Using multiple systems to manage and analyze data.
• Having a solid understanding of internal policies, practices, and procedures to ensure everything aligns with quality and safety standards.
• Ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines (federal, state, local) and maintaining ethical standards, particularly in healthcare-related activities.
