• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 1 : 4-5 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina at time of submission - no pending licenses accepted
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills required include cardiac telemetry, CVA management, CPAP / BIPAP operation, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip management and titration, vasoactive drip titration, and insulin drip titration
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with critical care stepdown needs, neuro / stroke patients, cardiac patients with planned interventions, and telemetry monitoring
• May be required to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• 50-mile radius rule applies for local candidates
• 2 supervisory references required
• Copy of certifications required
• Keep requested time off to minimum, especially in first two weeks
