Schedule 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM and 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM shifts, every other weekend required, holidays as needed. Job Description Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs are essential in providing immediate care to patients in critical situations. They must be equipped to handle a variety of emergencies affecting patients of all ages. ED RNs are trained to respond to trauma situations, requiring quick and effective decision-making. Candidates should possess the ability to assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions efficiently, while prioritizing their treatment based on the severity of their medical needs. Responsibilities Assess and prioritize incoming patients' injuries and medical needs. Provide immediate and specialized care in critical situations. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Develop and implement nursing care plans based on clinical expertise. Required Experience and Certifications Minimum of 18 months of experience in an Emergency Department environment. ED experience within the past six months. Must hold a NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, Telemetry, and NIHSS certifications required.
