Core Faculty Opening in Abingdon, VA Richlands 45m; Roanoke 134m Seeking a Full Spectrum, Family Medicine, Core Faculty physician for Family Medicine Residency Program. Full-time, Employed The ideal candidate must be Family Medicine board certified with training in full-scope family medicine including a desire to provide patient care in different settings. Physician must have a strong commitment to graduate medical education. The following required duties : resident supervision in the clinic and hospital, attendance at meetings, candidate interviews, curriculum development, and research; and direct patient care and clinical activities working with our residents. The main focus of this position will primarily be the teaching of residents, but will also have responsibilities for teaching medical students and oversight of advanced practice providers. 116-bed community hospital.
