Community Options, Inc.  is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.

Community Options, Inc. licenses   Adult Development Home Providers (ADH) and Child Development Home Providers (CDH) . This is your chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and / or physical disabilities.  This independently contracted position will provide a 24 / 7 family-like setting for an individual.

The Developmental Home Provider will ensure that best practices and technology are used to teach the individuals how to acquire the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills needed to live as independently as possible.

REQUIREMENTS :

• At least 21 years of age, pass a background check, and obtain a Level One Fingerprint card

Adequate transportation

At least 1 year of previous work experience as a caregiver

Development Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a daily habilitation rate, PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax-exempt.
