District Chef Needed for School Food Service

District Chef needed for school food service program in the Fair Lawn, NJ area. Monday through Friday, full time 6 : 30am to 2 : 30 pm. Some occasional nights and weekends are required for special functions.

Chef experience is is required. Must be willing to submit to a chef test. Traveling throughout the district is required. Able to work in a fast pace team environment.

Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.

• Must have experience in catering, and satellite preparation.
• Culinary, K-12 experience preferred.
• Some training of staff may be required.
• Creating different menus items while adhering to school food service guideline NSLP.
• ServSafe® certification is required.
