Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Oracle EPM Project Manager to lead the modernization, implementation, and strategic evolution of our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. This is a high-impact role reporting to senior finance and technology leadership, responsible for orchestrating large-scale Oracle EPM (especially Planning) initiatives and aligning them with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead end-to-end Oracle EPM Cloud Planning implementations (financials, workforce, capital, projects, custom modules).
Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Technology, and business units to deliver on schedule, scope, and budget.Manage resource allocation, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change control.Strategic Vision & RoadmappingDefine and drive the long-term strategy for EPM, including roadmap planning, modular adoption, and continuous improvement.
Recommend scalable forecasting and budgeting models to support enterprise-wide financial planning.Partner with stakeholders to assess current and future needs and translate them into a coherent technical and functional strategy.Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders, IT, and external implementation partners.
Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, steering committee meetings, and steering governance.Ensure clear communication, deliver status reports, and escalate issues appropriately.Solution Design & Functional ExpertiseCollaborate with EPM architects and business analysts to design planning and forecasting models.
Validate and drive adoption of best practices for driver-based planning, what-if scenario modeling, and integrated planning frameworks.Oversee testing, data validation, and integration with ERP systems or other financial systems.Change Management & TrainingLead change management efforts, ensuring finance users adopt new planning workflows.
Organize and deliver training, working with business stakeholders to embed EPM practices.Promote governance around data integrity, version control, and plan consistency.Continuous Improvement & OptimizationMonitor platform usage, performance, and ROI.
Recommend enhancements or expansions (e.g., adding modules, improving automation).Stay current with Oracle EPM Cloud updates, leveraging new features (predictive planning, scenario modeling, etc.).Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with a strong focus on financial systems, FP&A technologies, or EPM.Proven experience implementing Oracle EPM Cloud Planning / EPBCS (Financials, Workforce, Projects, Capital, or custom modules).Deep understanding of corporate planning processes : forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and long-range financial planning.Demonstrated ability to design driver-based planning models, forecasting architectures, and integrated planning workflows.Strong project management experience with PMP certification or equivalent.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to manage multiple, fast-moving workstreams in a hybrid setup.Experience with Oracle Smart View, data integration tools, and EPM administrative tasks is a plus.#Li-BS1
