About the Role : The PRN Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth operation of clinical services. These hours are not normally scheduled and are as needed. This position involves performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to facilitate patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for handling medical instruments, drawing blood through phlebotomy, and processing specimens accurately to support diagnostic testing. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a sterile environment by following proper sterilization protocols and managing patient communications effectively. Ultimately, this position contributes to delivering high-quality, compassionate care within a social assistance setting, enhancing patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
