Job Description

We are seeking a 1st & 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
  • Create Purchase Orders to send to outside processing
  • Quality inspection of incoming finished goods including visual inspection and some dimensional inspection
  • Light blueprint reading
  • Comparing incoming certifications to PO requirements
  • Touch up of finished goods with paint / CF
  • Light repair of machined parts using files and / or sandpaper
  • Completion of and entry of data into FAI's
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

​​ Qualifications :

  • History of minimal aircraft part inspection is a plus
  • Ability to use micrometers & calipers
  • Must be able to sit & work with hands for entire shift
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Candidate must work well unattended
  • Dependability, Focus and being Self-Motivated are required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong background in math is a plus
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality
