Benefits and Payroll Specialist

Job Description

We're currently supporting a client in their search for a Benefits and Payroll Specialist (salary range $75-85K ) to join their People & Culture team. This role is fully onsite and focuses on administering employee benefits and supporting payroll functions.

Position Highlights :

• Administer medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, wellness, and 401(k) programs
• Conduct benefits orientations and assist employees with claims and enrollment questions
• Manage COBRA, unemployment claims, and workers' compensation coordination
• Process leave-of-absence requests (FMLA, ADA, disability, etc.)
• Maintain accurate benefits and payroll data in HRIS / payroll systems
• Ensure proper payroll processing, deductions, and compliance with federal and state regulations
• Reconcile payroll, prepare reports, and support audits
• Assist with open enrollment and benefits-related communications
