Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school located in Camarillo, CA, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting young learners with speech and language needs, working collaboratively with educators to enhance students' communication skills in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify areas of need among students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Document student goals, progress, and generate detailed reports in compliance with school policies
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
  • Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and review sessions

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification appropriate for practice in California
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred
  • Knowledge of current speech-language therapy techniques and educational standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educators
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently throughout the school year contract period
  • Location : Camarillo, California
