Responsibilities
Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to support air traffic controller trainingRespond to student commands and input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actionsTranslate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminologyParticipate in classroom training and complete required certifications for the roleCollaborate with a team of multimedia developers, quality assurance personnel, and subject matter expertsWhat is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum educational requirement : High school diploma or equivalentBasic computer proficiency and ability to read and interpret diagrams and manualsMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation labFamiliarity with FAAO JO 7110.65 regulationsProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Basic understanding of pilot / controller communications or phraseologyExperience working in a multidisciplinary teamJ-18808-Ljbffr
