Pay is $32 to $38 per hour, depending on experience.

Our risk and consulting group, under Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring an Armed Security Operative. The Armed Security Operative will conduct armed and / or unarmed foot and / or vehicle patrol (interior and / or exterior). Additional duties include controlling access and egress; monitoring CCTV and alarm systems; composing reports; deterring criminal activity and misconduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as needed
• Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and / or materials / objects to the client
• Communicate and / or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents
