The nursing ratio is 1 : 4. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Holiday and charge RN assignments may be required. Weekend shifts are part of the scheduling requirements. The unit handles complex post-operative patients from thoracic and vascular surgeries. Common procedures include CABG, valve replacement, and aortic aneurysm repair. Patients may have multiple comorbidities, including heart failure and diabetes. Skills required include the use of telemetry and management of various IV drips.
