About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : ARRT RT(R)

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• 2+ years of experience in X-ray
• Experience performing C-arm scans in an OR setting
• 2 years of experience in CT required
• Active BLS certification
• Must be willing to obtain additional certification within 2 weeks of acceptance of offer

Description :

Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients.

Ensure the production of quality diagnostic images.

Operate equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines.

Ensure the quality of images is satisfactory for clinical purposes.

Required to perform X-ray, CT, C-arm, and fluoroscopy imaging.

Experience with C-arm cases is necessary.

Equipment utilized includes CT systems and C-arms from various manufacturers, as well as X-ray machines.

Charting system used is Epic.

Orientation will include training on X-ray equipment, C-arms, and CT.

Will not be scheduled alone until fully oriented in all modalities.

Review policies, procedures, and modality-specific protocols.

Must badge in and out while on the premises.

Scrub color is gray.

Every other weekend is required.

No on-call shifts are included.

Floating between units and departments may be necessary.

Focus on diagnostic X-ray, CT imaging, and surgery in a hospital and clinic setting.

The department features a total of 120 hospital beds.
