Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in handling financial transactions. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth accounts payable and receivable operations while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Manage data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Utilize QuickBooks to record and organize financial data.
• Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
• Prepare reports and summaries related to financial activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the accounting department. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management.
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with invoice processing practices and procedures.
• Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
