LOCATION : Apply Digital is a hybrid friendly organization with remote options available if needed. The preferred candidate should be based in (or within a location commutable to) the Delhi / NCR region of India , working in hours that have an overlap with the Eastern Standard Timezone (EST).

ABOUT THE CLIENT

In your initial role, you will support Kraft Heinz, a global, multi-billion-dollar leader in consumer packaged foods and a valued client of ours for the past three years. Apply Digital has a bold and comprehensive mandate to drive Kraft Heinzs digital transformation . Through implementable strategies, cutting-edge technology, and data-driven innovation we aim to enhance consumer engagement and maximize business value for Kraft Heinz.

Our cross-functional team has delivered significant milestones, including the launch of the What's Cooking App, the re-building of 120+ brand sites in over 20 languages, and most recently, the implementation of a robust Customer Data Platform (CDP) designed to drive media effectiveness. While your work will start with supporting Kraft Heinz, you will also have future opportunities to collaborate with the global team on other international brands.

THE ROLE :

Are you passionate about shipping digital products of uncompromised quality? Do you constantly look for ways to innovate and expand your knowledge of test automation, modern testing methodologies, and quality best practices? Do you embrace challenges head-on with perseverance and a can-do attitude while still having fun? If so, you may be ready to take on the Senior QA Automation Engineer role within our team.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining and executing our QA automation strategy, ensuring that our web applications, APIs, and digital experiences meet the highest quality standards. You will lead efforts in test automation, quality governance, and test execution, collaborating with front-end, backend, and DevOps engineers to build scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.

This role requires deep expertise in Playwright, JavaScript / TypeScript, and modern testing methodologies, as well as experience working in cloud-native environments (Google Cloud Platform - GCP preferred).

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Lead the development and implementation of test automation frameworks using Playwright, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.
• Design and execute automated test scripts to validate front-end and backend services, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Experience implementing and integrating CI / CD test pipelines as part of development / release processes.
• Collaborate with front-end and backend engineers to define testability requirements, improve test coverage, and enhance quality throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end, regression, API, and performance test suites, ensuring consistent product reliability across multiple environments.
• Advocate for a shift-left testing approach, working closely with developers to promote best practices in unit testing, integration testing, and code quality.
• Manage and optimize test environments to support parallel test execution, ensuring stability and performance.
• Monitor and analyze test results, proactively communicating and updating leadership with detailed reports and recommendations for improvements in test coverage and software quality.
• Mentor junior and intermediate QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, automation-first mindset, and continuous learning.
• Stay updated with emerging QA automation tools and technologies, continuously improving our testing methodologies and frameworks.
