Overview
FPE Automation is seeking a robotics specialist / application engineer to join our team at the St. Louis office. This role includes a robust training program designed to develop a well-rounded knowledge of the automation products that we represent.
Base pay range
$60,000.00 / yr - $80,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Becoming the product expert for all of the robotics solutions that FPE has to offer
- Demonstrate various automation technologies to customers
- Assisting customers with the troubleshooting of existing systems
- Training customers and internal team members on key product lines
- Attending training from vendors in order to sharpen your skillset
- Building customer facing demos and tackling unique proof of concepts
- Creating BOMs and proposals for large customer projects
- Being the first line of defense for any robotic project that the sales team encounters
- Working hand in hand with both internal and external integration partners to come up with solutions to customer applications
