Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced travel RN to join our PACU team.

The position is for a day shift from 9 : 00 AM to 9 : 00 PM.

The PACU unit has a total of 30 beds.

Staff includes 12 nurses and 1 CNC / charge nurse during the day shift.

During the night shift, there are 2 RNs, sometimes on-call rather than scheduled.

Patient ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients or 1 RN to 1 patient, depending on needs.

The unit uses Meditech for electronic medical records.

Candidates must possess strong skills and experience as a PACU nurse.

Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to take call are preferred.

Typical procedures performed in the unit include craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries.

The unit boasts a team of nurses with extensive experience, many of whom have worked in PACU for 5-25 years.
