We’re looking for an Account Director to lead marketing communications initiatives and drive strategic partnerships across key client relationships in within the San Francisco community.
This role blends strategic leadership, client relationship management, and fiscal accountability to ensure exceptional work and measurable results. Success in this role means building trusted client partnerships, delivering innovative marketing solutions that achieve business objectives, and inspiring cross-functional teams to perform at their best. What You’ll Do
- Oversee and ensure the quality of all deliverables across internal departments.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior client leadership.
- Manage client budgets, ensure fiscal accountability, and support agency profitability.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and presentations aligned with client objectives.
- Provide strategic insight and creative partnership to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor account management staff, ensuring clear communication, project alignment, and professional growth.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to budgets, timelines, and scope.
- Support new business opportunities and participate in growth initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
8–10 years of experience within an advertising or marketing agency environment.Work experience with multicultural or African American & Latino consumer markets is highly preferred.Proven experience leading major accounts and managing cross-functional teams.Strong understanding of integrated and segmented marketing strategies.Deep knowledge of budget management, fiscal accountability, and performance optimization.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage at senior levels.Collaborative leadership style, adaptable to remote and hybrid team structures.We will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
