    • About the Role :
    • We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Oak Park, MI headquarters. The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and estimating security and surveillance systems, access control solutions, and integrated electronic systems that meet client requirements and company standards.

      You’ll work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure solutions are technically accurate, cost-effective, and aligned with customer expectations.

      This is a hybrid position based at our Oak Park, MI office.

    • Key Responsibilities :
    • Develop detailed system design proposals and cost estimates for security integration projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
    • Design and specify video surveillance, access control, alarm, and monitoring systems that align with customer needs and technical specifications.
    • Support the sales team with technical documentation, drawings, and presentations to clients.
    • Review project scopes, drawings, and system requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Collaborate with engineering and project management to ensure smooth transition from proposal to implementation.
    • Attend production and coordination meetings to maintain project alignment and accuracy.
    • Track project costs versus estimates and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
    • Maintain current knowledge of security industry trends, products, and technologies.
    • Assist in preparing and processing change orders and updated estimates as projects evolve.
    • Participate in vendor and customer meetings to support product selection and solution validation.
    • Qualifications :
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in security systems design, integration, or estimating.
    • Associate degree or equivalent technical diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Strong understanding of electronic surveillance systems, access control, and alarm technology.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
    • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or similar design tools a plus.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

      Job Type : Full-time

      Pay : $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
