Job description

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Elizabethtown, New York.

Facility : Elizabethtown Community Hospital

Assignment for 16 weeks only, must start 12 / 8.

Distance is measured in a straight line not driving distance ER RN : Will work 3 x 12s one week and 4 x 12s the next. Please ensure travelers are aware. 36 / 48H per week. A minimum of every other weekend and / or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Holidays required. Patient population ranges from neonate to geriatric. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.

Requirements :

  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required; TNCC, or proof of class with date applied, must be in packet and NIHSS is required prior to start
  • The following certifications are preferred : CEN, ENPC, CPEN, ABLS
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience required
  • NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required in packet at time of submission - please note NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks, and we will take that into consideration with start dates / offers
  • EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

  • IVS to OFFER
  • Monday to Sunday
  • No block schedules for any reason
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday
  • Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained
