This job oversees financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. You will ensure accurate financial information, manage audits, and implement accounting policies in line with GAAP / IFRS and SEC regulations. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, supports strategic decision-making, and drives process improvements. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and attention to detail are essential.

Essential Responsibilities :

Partner with PayPal business leaders and wider PayPal finance organization on accounting and reporting matters
Drive accounting support within finance transformation work programs and other process enhancements
Provide accounting expertise and leadership to finance and business organizations
Consult with business partners regularly to ensure awareness of significant transactions and potential accounting impact

Required Skills :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly and effectively with internal and external audiences at a leadership level.

Ability to influence where you do not have direct authority through strong interpersonal skills.

Quick learner with a high degree of attention to detail and understanding of business / accounting processes.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across cross functional teams.

High degree of personal integrity and professional skepticism.

Open to change and committed to continuous process improvement.

Have a reputation for getting things done.

Required Qualification :

12+ years of Audit / Accounting experience : Minimum 5 years required at a Big Four public accounting firm.

Experience in Credit or Banking industry is required.

CPA required
