Must hold, or be willing to obtain within one year of hire :
OSHA 30 and First Aid / CPR / AED certifications.
Certifications in Small Wastewater Systems (or higher) , Smoke School (Method 9 & 22) , Hazardous Waste (Small Generator) RCRA and California Title 22 , and Small Drinking Water Systems .
Strong working knowledge of OSHA , state plans (particularly Cal / OSHA and Oregon OSHA ), EPA , and DOT regulations, with a commitment to staying current as standards evolve.
Education and Experience
Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety , Industrial Hygiene , Environmental Sciences , or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an industrial EHS role .
Experience in wood products manufacturing is preferred.
