Environmental Health Safety Coordinator

Required Skills and Abilities

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Proficient with computers and comfortable using various industry-related technologies.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups.
• Skilled in critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Ability to train and mentor others on established EHS standards and programs.
• Must hold, or be willing to obtain within one year of hire :
• OSHA 30 and First Aid / CPR / AED certifications.
• Certifications in Small Wastewater Systems (or higher) , Smoke School (Method 9 & 22) , Hazardous Waste (Small Generator) RCRA and California Title 22 , and Small Drinking Water Systems .
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA , state plans (particularly Cal / OSHA and Oregon OSHA ), EPA , and DOT regulations, with a commitment to staying current as standards evolve.
