Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range : $1680 - $1800 per week (estimated) Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Lynchburg, VA 24501 (Virginia nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13-16 weeks (start dates : 10 / 20 / 2025 or 11 / 3 / 2025) Shift : 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week : 36 Unit : LAC Resource Team – Med / Surg Oncology Orientation : Every other Monday Weekend Requirement : 2-3 weekends per month (as needed) Employment Type : Travel nursing Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact State (required at time of application) Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience Prior travel RN experience required BLS certification (required); ACLS certification preferred Experience with Cerner EMR preferred All requested time off must be submitted with your application Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on the Med / Surg Oncology unit Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and accurately document care using Cerner EMR Float to other hospital units as needed to support facility staffing requirements Work 2-3 weekends per month as scheduled Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training to maintain best practices in nursing care Why Choose Lynchburg, VA for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
