Mailroom Coordinator
To receive, deliver, and process incoming and outgoing mail in a professional and timely manner with a focus on accuracy, organization, and customer service within NOV's corporate environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, professional customer service to NOV employees and the public over-the-counter interactions, phone, and written correspondence.
- Collect, sort, open, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming mail and courier packages.
- Prepare mail and packages for shipment : weigh items, determine postage, complete shipping documentation, and coordinate courier pickups and deliveries.
- Resolve issues and respond to inquiries regarding incoming and outgoing courier deliveries.
- Assist the Mail Room Supervisor with scanning and coding invoices, filing, and document archiving.
- Support the Corporate Copy Center by preparing documents for scanning, printing, binding, coiling, and laminating.
Qualifications
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, NOV employees, and external parties.Effective verbal communication skills, especially related to mail and customer support.Proficient computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.Proficient in written and spoken English.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines.Working Conditions
May require occasional weekday overtime.Fast-paced mailroom and office support environment.Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing 2025+ pounds.
