IT Examiner

A company is looking for an IT Examiner to perform risk-focused statutory examinations on behalf of state insurance regulators.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze statutory laws, regulations, and policies related to the IT environment for insurers

Plan, scope, and execute the ITGC portion of examinations, including evaluating cybersecurity risks and controls

Communicate project objectives and provide regular status updates to clients and supervisors

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or information technology

Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience evaluating IT governance and controls

Preferred CISA designation or willingness to obtain it

Experience with IT audit procedures and regulations related to insurance

Knowledge of NIST, HIPAA, SOX / MAR, and ISO Standards is advantageous
