Overview
Leasing Specialist role at Panther Residential Management. This position is primarily responsible for interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue, including marketing, lead management, touring, closing, and providing customer service to prospects and residents.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintains an excellent customer service relationship.
- Adheres to the Panther Residential Management Standard Operating Procedures.
- Leases apartments and sells the products and services of the property to prospects.
- Responds to internet leads, answers prospect calls, and conducts property tours following established guidelines.
- Works to optimize occupancy while maximizing leased rent.
- Utilizes established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintains closing ratios, and works to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy percentages.
- Maintains thorough product knowledge of the property and its major competitors.
- Prepares and has thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork.
- Maintains prospect traffic and leasing data, and assists with data entry as necessary.
- Delivers resident gifts and inspects units for move-ins to ensure units are ready.
- Assists with planning and hosting resident functions.
- Audits lease and renewal files for key controls and bonus submission to the Community Manager.
- Reviews guest cards to ensure entry and follow-up and monitors traffic trends.
Qualifications
Education And / Or Experience : High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience and / or training is recommended but not required.Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence; fluent in English.Mathematical Skills : Basic arithmetic and ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; interpret simple graphs.Reasoning Ability : Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.Computer Skills : Knowledge of common software (Internet, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) and ability to learn Onesite.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Valid driver license and acceptable motor vehicle record; position may require furnishing own vehicle.Other Qualifications : Commitment to ongoing professional development; willingness to work varied hours including weekends as needed; on-call availability as scheduled.Physical Demands : Regularly sit, use hands, reach, talk or hear; may lift up to 20 pounds; vision requirements as described.Work Environment : Moderate noise level; reasonable accommodations as needed.Benefits
