ID : 74110505 Shift : 0650-1850 Guaranteed Hours : 0.9 FTE 36 hours (3x12)Shift : DAY SHFT 0650-1850Weekend cadence : As Description : Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.Job Summary : -Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. -Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. -Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. -Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient / family and healthcare team. -Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. -Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. -Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. -Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. -Completes patient population / age-specific / procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. Preferred Skills & Experience : -EPIC experience; can train on-site.Education : Required Education : One of the following is required : -Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN).-Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
