ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Lima, Ohio 45804 (Ohio healthcare jobs)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU nursing jobs)

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 11 / 2025 – End : 2 / 10 / 2026)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

On-Call : No call required

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1700 - $1820 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience required

Immediate open heart recovery experience required (preferably 3 years of recent ICU experience)

BLS (AHA) certification – required

ACLS (AHA) certification – required

NIHSS certification – required

TNCC certification – highly preferred

Willingness to float to all units within skill level

Submission of work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), and all certifications (no pending certifications)

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using age-specific criteria

Provide immediate post-open heart recovery care to critical care patients

Make clinical judgments based on scientific knowledge and advanced clinical skills

Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries

Float to other hospital units as needed within your skill set
