Job Summary
This full-time position is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Peer Program. The role includes day-to-day program administration and clinical supervision of Peer Support Specialists (CPSSs). The Clinical Supervisor ensures the delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented peer services in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Essential Job Functions
- ? Conduct mental health intakes and assessments; recommend services based on peer support and additional available resources.
- ? Develop and document initial Individual Service Plans (ISPs) for newly enrolled participants.
- ? Ensure that all program staff receive ongoing training; maintain accurate training records in compliance with requirements.
- ? Review, implement, and monitor adherence to policies and procedures related to the Peer Program.
- ? Respond to and resolve client complaints and grievances in accordance with organizational policy.
- ? Supervise and support the Peer Program Supervisor to ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality.
- ? Oversee accurate and timely documentation of client services and provide necessary data for grant applications, reporting, and audits.
- ? Meet weekly with the Peer Program Supervisor to review safety concerns, implement safety plans, and maintain regulatory compliance (WACs / RCWs and CRC policies).
- ? Provide individual clinical supervision to Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSSs), in collaboration with the Peer Program Supervisor.
- ? Ensure timely and effective communication with clinic staff, providers, and management regarding program updates and client needs.
Required Qualifications
? Must be a Washington State-designated Mental Health Professional (MHP). LCSW, LMHC, or other advanced licensure.? Experience working as an MHP in a Medicaid-funded behavioral health setting.? Documented experience in clinical supervision, including completion of supervisory training.? Strong understanding of peer support services and the principles of recovery-oriented care.? Ability to build collaborative, respectful relationships with participants while maintaining healthy boundaries.? Must successfully pass a Washington State background check.? Demonstrated ability to deliver services in a strength-based, non-judgmental manner.? Ability to take direction, work independently, and thrive in a team environment.? Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.Preferred Qualifications
? Experience supervising peer programs or working directly with Peer Support Specialists.? Bilingual or multilingual abilities.? Experience working with marginalized or underserved populations.? Familiarity with trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing.Work Environment
Work Location
Primarily in-office, with possible offsite meetings or community engagement.
Physical Requirements
May involve sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods. Occasional lifting of materials under 25 lbs.
