We are currently seeking to fill the Orders Management / Orders Runner position in Kern County and Surrounding Areas :

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Process all Certifications and Medical Orders using the computer tracking system for outgoing and

incoming orders in Kinnser

2. Responsible to meet Agency, State and Federal deadlines for obtaining physician signature of medical orders and will follow up with providers to insure return of delinquent medical orders

3. Triage medical order help desk phone calls and email requests. Medical order functions including :

filing, computer input, printing, and mail processing

4. Cross train with HIM specialist; cover defined tasks within each function as needed

5. Perform other duties as assigned.

6. Works with members of the billing team to ensure that managed care customers are billed according to Case Manager agreements.

7. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential physicians

8. Assists in building community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of Compassionate Care Home Health Agency as a high quality provider of services.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma, sometimes combined with medical assistant certification

2. Solid faxing and computer skills; familiarity with computerized documentation systems

3. Able to handle multiple tasks at once

4. Organized and detail-oriented

5. Excellent interpersonal skills

6. Able to think critically

7. Dependable

8. Customer service background

9. Valid California's driver's license.

10. Clean DMV record.
