Job Description
A New York City-based healthcare organization is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team on a Part-time / PRN basis. In this role, the Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing medical oversight for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities residing in the residences, as well as necessary training for staff.

Responsibilities :
Coordinate annual and routine medical servicesSupervise AMAP staff in aspects of medication administration and documentationServe as a liaison to both the families and the residential staff regarding their medical concerns regarding individual residentsComplete all written reports and documentation on a timely basis so that all agency, State and Federal regulations are maintained residential complianceMaintain confidentiality on a need to know basis regarding Healthcare concerns and diagnosis of the individuals servedReport all incidents, including allegations of abuse and neglect and serious reportable incidents, to management immediately upon discoveryAdvocate appropriately and professionally on behalf of all individualsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications :
Graduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseRequired Skills :
1+ year of Nursing experience1+ year experience working with OPWDD population in Group Home SettingExperience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
