Senior Red Team Penetration Tester

Overview : SimVentions , recognized as one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is seeking an accomplished professional to enhance our dynamic team! As a Senior Red Team Penetration Tester, you will play a key role in leading and executing sophisticated penetration testing operations and conducting offensive cybersecurity activities for the U.S. Government and DoD systems. You will collaborate closely with Blue Team and Cybersecurity experts to boost the overall cyber defense strategies.

Note : Position is contingent upon anticipated contract award in December of 2025.

Clearance : An ACTIVE Top Secret / SCI eligible clearance is required for this role. Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for accessing classified information. US Citizenship is required for clearance.

Requirements :

• Extensive knowledge of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies
• Exceptional communication skills for effective written and verbal presentations
• One or more DoD 8570.01-M CSSP Auditor certifications, including :

CEH

Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE)

Ten (10) years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and / or offensive Cyber operations with demonstrated expertise in :

Education : A Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required.

Compensation : At SimVentions, compensation is influenced by several factors, including experience, education, training, security clearance, and location. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 (USD), representing just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered.
