The Computer Merchant, Ltd. is hiring : Designer, Mechanical CAD in Florham Park

JOB TITLE : ECAD Designer JOB LOCATION : Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for an ECAD Designer to work from their Florham Park, NJ facility. The Electrical Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) Technician will conduct component and connector placement and signal / plane routing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ECAD Technician will be responsible for creating manufacturing documentation for fabrication and assembly. You'll prepare production detail drawings and contribute design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required to be obtained. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.An Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Experienced in the use of current strategic CAD tools : Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Xpedition xPCB and Fablink is required
• Distinct knowledge of PCB (i.e., PWB) fabrication techniques, and manufacturability concepts
• Superior knowledge of the strategic CAD and file management tools and design documentation standards
