The Miami, FL Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting Academic Gastroenterologists. We are an academic, teaching high complexity medical center, affiliated with the University of Miami. Opportunity to be actively involved in teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for both inpatients and outpatients in the gastrointestinal service.
- Perform and supervise colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy.
- Perform and supervise upper endoscopy with biopsy, polypectomy, balloon, and savoy dilation.
- Familiarity with variceal banding.
- Proficiency in video capsule endoscopy.
- Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Lead subspecialty areas in advanced endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, general gastroenterology, or GI motility.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.Clinical and academic experience in gastroenterology.Subspecialty interests in advanced endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, general gastroenterology, or GI motility.Benefits
