About The Position

Looking for a high-paying GI locum opportunity in a stunning part of Northern Michigan? We’re seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Physician to join a hospital-based team offering weekday-only coverage (no nights, no weekends). Enjoy a consistent, manageable schedule and support from an outstanding clinical staff, while delivering impactful GI care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

📍 Position Highlights :

Location : Petoskey, MI

Rate : Up to $450–$470 / hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday | 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Call : None

Setting : Hospital-based, endoscopy and consults

Patient Volume :

18 outpatient consults / day

20 inpatient scopes / day

Team Support : 2 Physicians, 2 APPs, Full Hospital Services

EMR : Cerner

Scope : General GI, ERCP required

Aug : 14–15, 21–22, 25–29

Sep : 1–4, 18–19, 22–26, 29–Oct 2

Oct : 16–17, 20–24, 27–31

Nov : 3–6

Job Requirements

Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required

ERCP Experience – Required

Active Michigan License & CSR – Required

Local Candidates Preferred (Driving distance only)

Minimum 2–3 Years Post-Fellowship Experience – Required

Clean Background (some minor malpractice accepted)

COVID Vaccination – Required

DEA – Must confirm at name clear

ACLS Certification – Required

IMLC accepted for dates 60+ days out (LOQ required)
